Sigg bottles are resin-lined aluminum. Folks should do a little research before regurgitating their Greenwashing propaganda. It's a good thing the aluminum is so readily recyclable, because once the liner is scratched or delaminated, you really should not use them anymore, exposed metal will leach aluminum.

I have a cool Guyot "Gription" lid that does everything that Jared's does (despite his claim to be the only "chuggable" cap), and is field strippable (cleanable) and has an attachment point that is not prone to accidental gate/valve opening.

Nathan also combined their attachment point/valve. I think this is a mistake. I also thing that the Titan cap shared a big flaw with my Guyot design, namely that the entice drinking opening is a huge receptacle for dirt and debris. Because of this, both are really only suited for urban environment.

Speaking of 'green' innovation, check out this bpa free plastic water bottle called the Titan water bottle. It was invented by young, fledgling inventor Jared Joyce in Boozeman, MT. It's a year ahead of camelbak, nalgene (and dare I say, Sigg) in terms of user-based design but most importantly, it's made from bpa-free Tritan plastic.

Check it out at
www.titanwaterbottle.com - Jared talks about the process of inventing this bottle
